Here Comes the Son

January was a long, cold month.

On it's last day, things got warmer.

A whole bunch warmer.

Thanks to everyone who came and supported our boy on his baptism day. We are so grateful for all you do for our family. And yes, that is a snake our daughter is holding...

Congratulations! I didn't understand how emotional a mom could be at her child's baptism until my daughter was baptized in November.

Word verify is "promis" Pretty apropo, I think. ;)

Congratulations, Conner!! I was playing the piano for our stake baptism yesterday, and Jacob sang in a duet for it. I was daydreaming about how it will be his turn in October. Yay!! How time flies. I hope Conner's day was very special. :)
P.S. Grace has the same dress as Cecilia - she wore it to church today. :)

What an awesome snake!

It's definitely a special thing to witness your own child's baptism. So awesome to see!

And love the snake!

What an exciting day! I still remember mine, and in fact, I still use my Quad my aunt gave me. I had to have them rebound, but I've had those scriptures for over 22 years!!

Congratulations! What a great day! My twins are so looking forward to their baptisms. And I love the snake! We went through a big snake phase with one of my boys. It became an effective potty training tool for going #2:) My kids still love that Pork and Beans song. So do I!

It was such a beautiful day, inside and out.
Thank you for giving me such a good teaching moment for my child. He was really responsive as we talked about the experience later.
The baptism and confirmation were very touching and he was definitely lit from within.
You looked lovely, especially after the brisk run you took to grab Tony's clothes. *wink*

AWESOME! What fun to have your son being baptised. Congratulations. Nothing can make you prouder than seeing a child take those important steps! Thanks for hooking up with me on Goodreads! BTW, I loved the snowy picture. It's beautiful (but I'm sure miserably cold).

What a beautiful day. Thanks for sharing the pictures. We have one more baptism to go, and we are looking forward to it, although he wants to be baptized in the lake. We will see. Thanks. Love your blog.
